TCSC Firearm Training programs are designed to teach individuals how to use firearms effectively, legally, and safely.
These programs typically cover several key areas:
1. Basic Firearms Safety
- Firearm Handling: Learning how to properly hold, load, unload, and store a firearm to prevent accidents.
- Safe Storage: Understanding the importance of securing firearms to prevent unauthorized access, especially by children or untrained individuals.
- Trigger Discipline: Always keeping your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.
- Muzzle Awareness: Ensuring the firearm is always pointed in a safe direction.
2. Marksmanship Training
- Proper Stance and Grip: Learning the correct way to stand and hold a firearm for stability and accuracy.
- Sight Alignment and Picture: Focusing on aligning the firearm’s sights properly with the target.
- Breathing and Trigger Control: Techniques for steady breathing and smooth trigger pulls to improve accuracy.

Our Courses
MD WCHP - 16 Hour
Maryland's required WCHP/CCW initial 16 hour training course taught by Qualified Handgun Instructors certified by the Maryland State Police and the NRA. Includes NRA Basic CCW.
MD WCHP Renewal - 8 Hour
Maryland's required WCHP/CCW Renewal 8 hour training course taught by Qualified Handgun Instructors certified by the Maryland State Police and the NRA.
NRA Basic Pistol - 8 Hour
The NRA's Basics of Pistol Shooting course which will teach you all the basics about your handgun. This course covers everything from buying, safety, using, cleaning, and storing your handgun - and more.
